IT Manager
Acerca del puesto
As IT & Security Manager, you will own Sentrycs’ end-to-end IT operation – infrastructure, systems, and support – across our Tel Aviv headquarters and our growing international footprint. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role in a company whose product is cybersecurity, so our own internal security posture has to be exemplary.
You will work in close, ongoing partnership with our CISO: the CISO sets security strategy, policy, and risk priorities, and you are the operational owner who executes the resulting work plan day to day – implementing controls, running the cybersecurity processes, driving remediation, and reporting progress back. Think of this as the hands-on execution engine behind the CISO’s roadmap, combined with full ownership of core IT infrastructure and support.
In This Role, You Will
- Partner closely with the CISO to translate security strategy and risk priorities into a concrete work plan, and own execution of that plan across IT systems, infrastructure, and processes.
- Manage day-to-day cybersecurity operations: access control and identity management, endpoint protection, patching, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and incident response – in line with the CISO’s direction.
- Own and manage Sentrycs’ global IT infrastructure – network, servers, endpoints, cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), and SaaS tooling – across HQ and international offices.
- Design and maintain secure network architecture (firewalls, VPN, segmentation, Wi-Fi) covering both standard office use and sensitive R&D/lab and testing environments, per security requirements set with the CISO.
- Run day-to-day IT support and helpdesk operations: employee onboarding/offboarding, hardware provisioning, ticket resolution, and SLAs, as the team and headcount grow.
- Own the IT budget: plan spend, evaluate and negotiate with vendors, ISPs, MSPs, and hardware/software suppliers, and control costs without compromising security or reliability.
- Support the CISO on information security compliance and certification efforts (e.g., ISO 27001-aligned practices) and help prepare responses to customer, partner, and government security questionnaires and audits.
- Support secure handling of sensitive defense- and government-related data, in line with export control and confidentiality requirements.
- Own business continuity and disaster recovery planning for a company operating across multiple time zones and customer types (defense, government, critical infrastructure).
- Drive IT projects end to end: cloud migrations, systems upgrades, MDM rollouts, and adoption of new collaboration and security tooling.
- Partner with R&D, hardware, and QA teams on infrastructure needs for development, lab, and test environments.
- Report regularly to the CISO and management on security work-plan progress, open risks, and IT operational health.
- Build and mentor an IT support team as the company scales.
Requisitos
- 5+ years of experience in IT management, including at least 2 years leading IT operations or a small team.
- Proven hands-on experience with network infrastructure, Windows and Linux server environments, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals: endpoint protection, identity and access management, network segmentation, and incident response, with the ability to execute a security work plan defined by a CISO or security leadership.
- Experience supporting a multi-site or international organization across different time zones.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, MDM platforms, and IT ticketing/asset-management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Strong cross-functional collaborator, comfortable operating as the execution partner to a CISO or security function, with clear reporting and follow-through.
- A hands-on, service-oriented, “get it done” attitude, strong ownership, and the ability to work independently under pressure – a fit for Sentrycs’ fast-paced, high-growth culture.
