FP&A Analyst
About The Position
A fast-growing global Defense-Tech company developing advanced hardware-based solutions for unauthorized drone detection and protection of restricted areas. The company operates globally (US, Europe, Israel & RoW), is part of a NASDAQ-listed group, and is entering its next phase of scale.
The Head of FP&A will lead the company’s financial planning and performance management processes and act as a key business partner to Sales, Operations, and executive leadership. This role focuses on forward-looking analysis, forecasting accuracy, margin optimization, and strategic insight in a global hardware-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting process and forecast (Revenue, COGS, OPEX, CAPEX )
- Performance Analysis & Business Insights
- Monthly variance analysis (Actual vs Budget / Forecast)
- Product profitability and cost structure analysis
- Identify financial risks and performance gaps earlyDevelop and maintain executive dashboards & KPIs
Sales & Deal Support
- Partner with VP Sales on pipeline review and forecast validation
- Analyze profitability of large tenders and complex deals
- Support pricing strategy and commercial decisions
Operations & Cost Analysis
- Analyze manufacturing and cost variances
- Work closely with Operations on BOM and cost drivers
- Support inventory impact analysis and working capital management
Executive Support
- Prepare board and executive-level financial presentations
- Support strategic growth and scaling initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A / Financial Planning roles
- Experience in a technology or industrial / hardware company
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP – strong advantage)
- Proven ability to partner with Sales and Operations
- Ability to challenge assumptions and drive business decisions
- Strong presentation skills in English

- Experience in a publicly traded company
- Background in Big 4 / Consulting / Investment analysis
- Experience in scaling companies (50M$+ revenue)
