Technical Project Manager
About The Position
Own the day-to-day execution of multiple R&D projects in a multidisciplinary environment. You will act as the primary bridge between Product and R&D, ensuring seamless synchronization across shared engineering teams and external 3rd-party partners.
Responsibilities:
- Multi-Disciplinary Sync – Manage dependencies and timelines across HW, SW, and System workstreams to ensure cohesive delivery.
- Execution Management – Translate high-level roadmaps into detailed project plans, tracking milestones, risks, interfaces, resources loads and critical paths.
- Technical Oversight – Facilitate projects execution practices – from Discovery to Done, using metrics and data to monitor timelines, bottlenecks and workloads.
- Risk & Data Tracking – Proactively identify and reflect delivery risks early through execution metrics and KPI’s.
- External Integration – Lead technical and operational coordination with 3rd party partners for strategic projects.
- Execution Forums: Run focused stand-ups, technical reviews, readiness checks, status meetings to keep the system moving.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of PM experience in R&D in multidisciplinary R&D environments – Defense or RF systems – advantage).
- Technical Fluency: Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers and evaluate effort estimations, and complexity.
- Cross Functional Skills – proven experience managing shared resources and external stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Methodology: Practical experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Data Driven: Ability to master schedules, KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven execution tracking via Jira, Monday.com, MS projects, or equivalent tools.
